In may 2009, we were announcing the confirmed coexistence of the ESE
standards with the Standards of the EN 62 305 series.
During last june, several usual and well known "ESE Prosecutors" tried once
again through webgroups or medias to mislead the public by claiming and
publishing untrue informations on the so-called "withdrawal of ESE within
Europe"! Nothing less than "administrative procedures of the European
community have been successfully used to force the withdrawal of ESE
standards in France, Spain and any other country which adopted such a
standard" was wrongly stated.
This announcement has actually been published as a fact on ICLP website home
page during several weeks in june 2009.
ICLP immediately received a call to order from CENELEC Directorate
Technical dated 22/06/2009, to correct this misinterpretation of the CENELEC
decisions . After several days of blackout, the ICLP website was put back
online and this untrue information was promptly removed from it on
26/06/2009.
The actual position of ESE standards is confirmed and the CENELEC
has even showed an interest in a study of European Standard based on the
existing ESE French standard NF C 17-102 !
